Orientation

Greetings and salutations. Glad you’re here. Get ready for a good time. Only thing I ask is that folks be kind to each other. I write a lot but have been reluctant to share. This is me letting go of that control.

I believe somewhere in here I’m supposed to tell you I’m a fiction writer, editor, and director, and found my spirit curating. All of that’s great, and somewhere in the future, if I’m fortunate enough, I hope to have a living space with enough room to house a writing studio that includes hand-built stadium models, not the kind that go on shelves, but the kind you have to put on a table. So really big stadium models.

What you should know

In my writing I’ve grown to realize I deflect from myself with stories of food (and the cookware I use to prepare my food), NBA games, and Premier League matches that’ll upset me, my thoughts on the books stacked on the floor next to my couch, and the places I visit, because what is sharing if not an excuse to get back to the far away lands I can’t stop thinking about. Who knows? I feel that unlearning deflecting brings us closer to ourselves (did it again). Besides, you’ll probably see me anyway. Maybe I’m terrible at deflecting.

What you'll find here are updates on my cooking, cookware, sports, books being read, travel, TV shows I'm watching, and some career updates which no doubt will include the status of the novel that was promised.

People

Writer, editor, director, curator. Big fan of cookware. Student of interior design. Books and the people who write them, the people who make them, the people who read them. British crime dramas are my weakness.
